Welcome to Abeytrust. By accessing or using our website, mobile app, or services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
These Terms apply to all users, including students, instructors, and visitors. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you’re under 16, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts

To access most features, you need to create an account. When you do, you agree to:
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
  • Take responsibility for all activity that happens under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior.

Rights & Restrictions

When you purchase a course on Abeytrust, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the course content for your own use.
You may:
  • Watch lessons, complete quizzes, and download provided resources for personal learning
  • Earn certificates upon course completion
  • Apply skills you learn in your own work or projects
You may not:
  • Share, resell, redistribute, or sublicense any course content
  • Record, copy, or screenshot lessons for distribution
  • Use course content to create competing courses
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse our Services
  • Use our Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Violation of these restrictions may result in account termination without refund.

Access and Use of the Services

We grant you access to the Services subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to:
  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time
  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason
  • Remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law
  • Limit access to certain features or regions
We do our best to keep the Services available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical issues, or events beyond our control may cause downtime.

Purchases & Payments

All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout. By making a purchase, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.
  • Payment is processed at the time of purchase
  • Receipts are sent to your registered email
  • Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect prior purchases
  • All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy (see Section 6)

Refund Policy

You may request a full refund if:
  • Your request is made within 7 days of purchase, AND
  • You have completed less than 30% of the course
To request a refund, email support@abeytrust.com with your order number. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine are abusive (for example, repeated refunds on multiple courses).

Instructor Terms

If you publish courses on Abeytrust as an instructor, you also agree to:
  • Own all rights to the content you upload, or have permission to use it
  • Grant Abeytrust a license to host, display, and distribute your content to students
  • Provide accurate course descriptions and pricing
  • Respond to student questions and feedback in a timely manner
  • Not include misleading, harmful, or copyrighted material without permission
We pay instructor revenue shares according to the agreement signed at the time of joining. Refunds to students are deducted from instructor payouts.

User Content

If you post reviews, Q&A, comments, or any other content, you:
  • Retain ownership of your content
  • Grant Abeytrust a non-exclusive license to display and use it on the platform
  • Confirm that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
  • Take responsibility for what you post
We may remove content that is offensive, misleading, or violates these Terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on Abeytrust, including the platform itself, course materials, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Abeytrust or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or content without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abeytrust is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that courses will lead to specific outcomes such as employment or income.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
  • Your access to the Services will end
  • You will lose access to purchased courses
  • We may retain some data as required by law
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@abeytrust.com.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Nigeria / United Kingdom — choose primary jurisdiction]. Any disputes will be resolved in the court.
